Terms of use
The rules for using Bikenance during pre-launch, whether you're joining the waitlist or just reading.
LAST UPDATED · SEPTEMBER 202601Who we are
Bikenance is building a platform that will let people fund motorbikes and other income-generating assets for workers who put them to use, starting with delivery riders in Harare, Zimbabwe. Assets are planned to be held by a separate pool entity until a rider completes their payments.
Bikenance is in pre-launch. Today it only operates a waitlist for prospective funders and riders. Joining the waitlist is not an application, a loan, an investment or a contract to buy anything.
02Eligibility and verification
You must be at least 18 to join the waitlist. When participation opens, you will need to be legally able to enter into contracts where you live and to complete identity verification (KYC) and any anti-money-laundering checks required under Zimbabwean law or by our partners. Riders will be vetted in person in Harare, including their National ID and rider's licence.
03Units and pools
Units are planned at $25 each, each representing a share in a specific asset pool. Pool terms, including repayment schedules and fees, will be set out before anyone can fund and may differ between pools.
Nothing on the platform is an offer of securities. No units will be offered until the legal structure is approved in Zimbabwe, and repayments to holders will depend entirely on the performance of the underlying assets.
04Your responsibilities
Give accurate details when you join the waitlist. Don't use the site for anything unlawful, to misrepresent who you are, or to interfere with its operation.
05Liability, governing law and changes
To the extent the law allows, Bikenance is not liable for losses arising from reliance on pre-launch information, network failures, or events outside our reasonable control. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. We may update them; material changes will be announced before they take effect.
